Biographical Sketch of Apostle Darryl B. Adams, Sr., STD
Apostle Darryl B. Adams, Sr., STD is a native of New York. He
was born to William and Gloria Adams and shortly thereafter was given up for foster care to the Sheltering Arms Children’s
Services. Because the Lord ordered the
Apostle’s steps, he was given to spirit filled people who loved him and brought him up in the fear and admonition
of the Lord.
He suffered physical trauma and was miraculously
healed within seven days from a terminal illness. Suffering from extreme malnutrition
and a ruptured disc in his lower back, it was said that he “would never walk or survive”; however, the Lord intervened
and healed both him and his younger brother, Tyrone, who is also still living,
At an early age, the Apostle received the gift of the Holy Spirit and took
to studying the Word of God. This tenacious desire to know God’s word caused the Apostle to search out various schools
of thought and theology. He successfully completed his GED program and from there went to receive two Associate degrees, 2 Master Degrees, 5 Doctorates and he is currently
working on his Ph.D. He pursues and studies the Word in both Kione Greek and
Hebrew. He speaks Chaldean and Arabic and touches on some Latin.
Since his
early days of ministry, the Apostle has founded the Refuge Church of Christ, Inc.,
where he served six years, the United Apostolic Cathedral, Inc., where he served twenty-six years and currently serving the
Good Shepherd International Ministries, Inc.
His Education
has caused him to serve in the following capacitates:

He has been married for
more than 35 years to Patricia Ann Tucker and out of this union five children were born, four girls, Melisha, Lakisha, Trudele,
and Deandra and one son, Darryl Jr. All children are gifted in the area of music.
The Apostle has made full proof of his ministry as cited above and brings with him a definite concern and love
for God‘s people. He takes matters to heart and wants to serve God’s
people anyway that he can.
